- Elisabeth Wiedemann was born on 8 April 1926 in Bassum, Province of Hanover, Prussia [now Lower Saxony], Germany. She was an actress, known for Spätere Heirat erwünscht (1966), Ein Herz und eine Seele (1973) and Bürger Schippel (1964). She was married to Werner Mengedoht and Richard Lauffen. Michael was born in Germany, he is the son of a pastor and a nurse and has two older brothers. His father is of German and Swedish descent. In 1999, his family moved to Bogotá, Colombía, where he attended Colegio Andio, Deutsche Schule Bogotá and was educated trilingual in German, Spanish and English. When he was 11, his family moved back to Germany. In 2007 he graduated from Humboldtschule Hannover. He then began to study business management at the University of Göttingen. However, he quit university after just one year to purse his acting career.
He first started acting after his mother encouraged him to participate in the nativity plays she used to organize. But only after he joined the "Schauspiel Hannover" in 2006, a theatre in Hanover, he has been pursing acting more eagerly. His first part was Mercutio in the play Romeo and Juliet.
In 2008 he made his film debut in the movie "House of Boys", where he starred as "Christopher" alongside Stephen Fry and Udo Kier. Since then, he has appeared in various film and television roles.
